This system is used to research and evaluate the durability performance and service life of floating oil seals. A pair of floating oil seal assemblies shall be mounted into the floating seal sand box of HRJ testing machine in standard assembly state. Multiple mixed media including mortar, slurry, clay and water are filled into the box. One end is driven for rotary motion while axial load is applied on the other end, with continuous operation lasting 1000 h to 2000 h. After the test, the erosion, corrosion, abrasion and aging degree on the sealing face of floating sealing rings and O-rings of the floating seal pair under long-term abrasive medium wear conditions shall be inspected and assessed.
→Adopt a fully enclosed high-strength sand box with precision machining, which prevents leakage of oil, gas, water, dust, mud, saline-alkali liquid, quartz sand, coarse sand, fine sand, clay particles and other substances inside the floating seal cavity during high-speed rotation test of the floating seal pair. Real-time measurement and display of temperature variation are supported.
→Complete the enhanced dynamic sealing performance test for floating oil seal pairs: carry out dynamic sealing performance tests under 4 to 5 times the actual service working conditions of the floating oil seal pair, a 2000-hour enhanced dynamic sealing performance test, as well as a 2000-hour service life accelerated durability test on the floating seal pair, so as to verify the operational reliability of floating oil seals under intensified working conditions.

Operation Steps :
1. Install and clamp the floating seal ring, FKM O-ring and floating seal base, then align, fix and lock the assembly.
2. Set test parameters including rotating speed, axial force, concentration of mud, mortar, oil and water mixture, total test duration of 2000 hours and leakage threshold.
3. Start the test: the main shaft rotates with axial load applied, run continuously for 24 hours per day while collecting test data in real time.
4. Test termination: the equipment will automatically stop and save all data when the preset duration is reached, leakage alarm is triggered or abnormal abrasion condition leads to test interruption.
5. Disassembly and inspection: check abrasive wear and erosion on sealing surfaces as well as the bright band area of metal rings to evaluate the anti-sediment abrasion durability of the floating seal assembly.
