  →Mechanical property test items of concrete segments: bending test, resistance  to pull off, leakage test.

  →Bending test of concrete segments: apply bending force to concrete  segments and analyze the deformation and surface crack occurance and change  of concrete segments under bending load and then evalute the bending property  of concrete segments. 

•  Place the concrete segments on the bending machine and insert rubber cushion with size more than 20mm on loading position (1/3 of segment span) → bending loading distribution beam → apply step loading, not less than 5min for each step loading → record the displacement at each step loading → continue to loading for 10min when crack on concrete segment occurs → record the real crack load → continue to load upto set load and hold for 30min, and record max. crack width and then upload. 
•  Bending property determination of concrete segment: Load to set load for 30min,if no crack display or crack width less than 0.2mm, it should be judged to be qualified. During bending test, if there are too many cracks to record cracks point by point, a few representative cracks can be recorded, for example, record the first crack, longer and wider cracks, etc.
•  1000kN concrete segment bending machine is applicable in mechanical tests of max. Load, break load, deflection for reinforced concrete segment (precast concrete lining), fiber reinforced concrette segment, steel segments, etc.

    → Resistance to pull off: perform pull off test for concrete and steel segments  for shield tunnel, pre-buried load member of cental lifting hole of reinforced  concrete segment to determine whether the pull off force property is qualified  under the external force and then evalute the pull off property of concrete    segment.

•  Adopting pulling off of lifting bolt hole test method:
•  Place the concrete segments on the bending machine→ apply step loading, not less than 5min for each step loading → record the bolt displacment of at each point under each step loading→continue to load up to the set load and hold for 30min and measure the bolt displacment every 5min→record pull off load and bolt displacement→check the crack situation of concrete segment.
•  Pulling off property determination of concrete segment: as for the last three displacment under set load, if the displacement difference between two adjacent displacment are less then 0.01mm, it should be judged to be qualified.
•  The pull off resistance test is used to check whether the pre-buried loading member at lifting hole can meet with lifting requirements, so it just to test whether it can meet with set load not break test.

    → Leakage test of concrete segment: apply water pressure step by step      onto the outer surface and check the leakage situation of inner surface and joint  surface to determine the leakage capacity of concrete segment.

•  Place the concrete segments on leakage tester→apply load step by step upto 0.2MPa and hold for 5min→0.4MPa for 5min→0.6MPa for 30min→0.8MPa for 2h→check the leakage point and leakage depth of each segment.
•  Leakage capacity determination of concrete segment: keep the concrete segment under leakage pressure for 2h, if there is no leakage in inner surface of concrete segment and leakage depth at side surface less than 50mm, it should be judged to be qualified.
•  During leakage test, if sealing ring is damaged or tightening screw and steel plate is deformed or abnomal situation occurs, test should be stopped.
•   The outer surface of concrete segment is divided into three areas, and there should be inlet opening and outlet opening on each area.
